YOUTH SHELTERS
Provides emergency and transitional shelter for unaccompanied, runaway, or otherwise homeless youth. Access to basic needs (bed, shower, laundry, food, hygiene, clothes, etc.). Length of stay depends on individual needs and engagement in program. Youth participate in case management skill building, education, mental health supports, and family mediation (if appropriate). Youth have access to activities, mentoring, academic coaches, and employment support.
Accepts donations September-March of gloves, blankets, hand and feet warmers.

Eligibility: Ages 10-17, runaway, unaccompanied, or otherwise homeless/at risk. Due to licensing, cannot serve youth with a fire-starting history, adjudicated sex offenders, and youth who are actively suicidal. Youth must be attending a state-certified education program. If not enrolled in school upon arrival, the agency will support them in accomplishing this and re-engaging. Youth living outside the service area will not be turned away.
