YOUTH OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM (YOOP)
Provides educational and vocational opportunities for youth and young adults including...

- Pre-employment training and Rethinking Careers Workshops, where participants learn the soft skills necessary to seek, gain, and maintain a job
- GED preparation classes, where participants receive tutoring to help them pass the GED exam
- Assistance applying for college, as well as FAFSA and other student aid assistance
- Assistance obtaining documentation (i.e., ID card, Social Security card, birth certificate)
- Training and education opportunities for enrollment in the Oregon Registry for participants who wish to become self-employed or seek employment as a child care professional

Children and babies are welcome at both Yoop! locations. Child care is not provided at the Skill Centers, but Yoop! can help with child care vouchers.

INTAKE PROCEDURE: Call or visit website for next orientation. Before entering the program, students must attend a short orientation that outlines the program's mission and goals, along with the documents needed when filling out an application.

DOCUMENTS: Proof you're legally able to work in the US and current school transcript
