GENERAL LEGAL AID
Provides legal counseling and/or representation for low-income individuals who need assistance with routine civil legal matters, usually regarding housing, public benefits, or expungement of criminal records.
Also offers criminal record expungement services for acquittals or dismised charges, eviction court cases, uncharged arrests more than 1 year old, and convictions more than 3 years old and marijuana charges on a case by case basis.

Eligibility: Expungement: Individuals who have no criminal charges in the U.S. or foreign countries, no criminal convictions in the previous 3 years, no more than one conviction in the past 10 years, and are not currently on parole or probation.
All other services: Must meet income guidelines. Prioritizes serving survivors of abuse or violent trauma and disabled individuals.
