Emergency financial assistance may include, but is not limited to, emergency or temporary housing and related housing expenses, such as expenses for utilities, insurance, rent, and house repairs; emergency medical or dental expenses; and/or emergency transportation. All payments are made directly to the vendor.
While applications are accepted at any time, if funding has been exhausted for the month the applicant must wait until the next month before reconsideration.

Eligibility:
Veterans with an Honorable Discharge or a General Discharge Under
Honorable Conditions and their immediate family members (spouse,
un-remarried surviving spouse, child, or stepchild).

DOCUMENTS:
DD214, written reason for request, and other documents in support
of the request: past-due notices, bills, shut-off notices, etc.
ODVA also requires a recommendation from CVSO or other Veterans
Program manager who has worked with the applicant. If the Veteran
has not worked with CVSO a VA provider or social worker will need
to complete the endorsement portion of the grant form.

west side of the courthouse (City Hall side).
