INDEPENDENT POLICE REVIEW DIVISION
Accepts commendations from the public for good police work, as well as accepting and investigating complaints of Portland Police Bureau (PPB) misconduct. Independent Police Review division offers civilian oversight of Portland Police Bureau, monitors internal affairs investigations, and recommends policy changes to City Council and Chief of Police.
