HOUSING PRESERVATION PROGRAM
Provides financial assistance through loans of up to $40,000 to qualified low income homeowners for basic home repairs. Priorities of the rehabilitation program are to address:
-Exterior repairs
-Roof repair/replacement
-Gutters
-Electrical, plumbing, or mechanical repairs to existing systems
-Reconstruction or replacement of structural components
-Septic repair/replacement
-Roll-in showers and grab bars
-Ramps

Eligibility: Must own and occupy a single family unit. The home must be site-built or a mobile home with the title eliminated. Mobile homes on leased land do not qualify. Household must earn 60% or less of the area median income.
