INCOME-BASED HONORED CITIZEN HOP CARD
Provides reduced fares for TriMet, MAX, WES, Portland Streetcar, and C-TRAN for single ride, day, or monthly pass.
Eligibility: -Age 65 and older or individuals on Medicare
-People with disabilities: verifiable mental or physical disability
-Age 18-64: Income based if a current recipient of OHP/Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, WIC, ERDC, Free and Reduced Lunch, HUD Assistance, LIHEAP (Home Energy Assitance)

-Age 65 and older, and people on Medicare: No need to apply in advance to use the reduced fare. Can pay directly, purchase Hop card prior at TriMet ticket office or grocery store, or add a Hop card to your phone
-People with disabilities: Visit website for application form and required verification. Call for more information or to have a form sent. Bring the completed application and required verification, along with a government-issued photo ID, to the TriMet Customer Support Center at Pioneer Courthouse Square (701 SW 6th Avenue Portland, 97204)
-People with qualifying incomes: Visit website to apply online or find a location to apply in person. Call Customer Service for more information,
FEES: $1.40 per 2 1/2 hour pass; $2.80 day pass; $28 monthly pass
DOCUMENTS: -Proof of income: Paystubs for the last 30 days, an unemployment paystub or benefit letter, Worksource Oregon Employment Wage Verification, or most recent tax return
-Government-issued photo identification: Valid driver's license, passport, or photo ID from any state, country, or foreign consulate, Armed services ID, Tribal ID, US Certificate Citizenship/Naturalization Certificate (with signature and photo)
-Recently postmarked piece of mail, a utility bill, or a rental agreement with the applicant's name and current Oregon address
LANGUAGES: English, Spanish applications are available online
