-Emergency shelter in Pendleton and Hermiston for survivors and their children
-Confidential abuse assessment
-Safety planning and advocacy, including child advocacy
-Restraining order petition assistance
-Response to hospitals and court accompaniment
-Peer domestic violence and sexual abuse support groups, including bilingual support groups
-Group support for friends and family of people in abusive relationships
-Bilingual parenting and life skills classes
-Community education
-Mental Health First Aid classes
Outreach offices in Heppner, Boardman, and Milton-Freewater. Provides comprehensive training for crisis response volunteers.
Eligibility:
Most services: Survivors of domestic, sexual, or dating violence
and/or stalking
Support groups, classes, and community education: Unrestricted
Volunteers: Age 18 and older. Must pass a background check.
