Provides affordable housing, housing subsidies, homeownership, and self-sufficiency opportunities. Two core programs are Section 8 and project-based rent assistance.

Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers (HCV): Federally funded housing assistance program offering rental assistance for older adults, adults with disabilities, and very low-income families.

Project-based rent assistance: Provides non-emergency subsidized apartment complexes in Longview, Cathlamet, Raymond, South Bend, and Woodland. Assistance is attached to the unit.

Eligibility: Household must meet occupancy requirements for each project and apartment. Gross income must not exceed 50% of Area Median Income for the household size. Applicants must have had no criminal activity within the last 3 years.

INTAKE PROCEDURE: Walk in or visit website for information and to apply for housing. Maintains waitlists for all programs. When the Section 8 waitlist is open, must complete a pre-application to be placed on the waitlist.
