MALHEUR COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
HOME VISITING PROGRAMS
Home visiting programs, like Babies First! and Family Connects, use nurses to help provide education and support to families. Visits can be at home, at a park, or the office. The home visiting nurse provides physical assessments when needed, works on parent-child interactions, refers to local resources, and helps advocate for the families.
