AARP EXPERIENCE CORPS
Provides an intergenerational mentoring and tutoring program. Volunteers are placed at local elementary schools to offer one-on-one literacy tutoring, mentoring, and academic support. Volunteers generally participate 4-10 hours per week. Comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided to those volunteering. Some stipends are available.

Eligibility: -US citizens
-Age 50 and older with high school diploma or GED
-Must be able to pass state, criminal, and FBI background checks
