Parenting workshops are designed for parents who are separated, in the process of divorcing, have divorced, or never married. Topics may include the impact of separation and divorce on families, developmental stages of children and expected reactions to divorce; skills parents can use to minimize stress and help children cope, guidelines for reducing conflicts and solving custody issues out of court, and recognizing when a child needs special help and where to find resources. All participants who successfully complete the program will receive a Certificate of Completion. All classes are provided via Zoom.

Eligibility: Families separating, divorcing, or filing for custody changes and other modifications with children younger than 17 years. Parents with involvement in the criminal justice system must check with their parole or probation officer before enrolling.
Hours: 3rd Tuesday of the month in Spanish, 6pm-8pm, 2nd Tuesday of the month in English, 6pm-8pm
