-Credit Counseling: A certified credit counselor meets with the client to review and evaluate the client's current financial situation; develop strategies to manage creditor payments as part of a balanced budget; evaluate personal financial goals; and create an action plan.
-Debt Management Program: For those with unmanageable credit card debt, ClearPoint offers the implementation of a structured debt management plan (DMP) to pay off debt. ClearPoint negotiates with the client's creditors for reduced fees and interest for the term of the program. The client makes one monthly payment to ClearPoint, which electronically disburses the funds to each creditor. The program continues until the debt is completely paid off. Includes follow-up visits.
