AHAVA GLEANERS
Clients glean (pick) food from fields and orchards and collect food and non-food items donated by stores, markets, and the Oregon Food Bank. The food is distributed as a supplemental food program through the participating efforts of its clients. Each family receives approximately 50 lbs. of food per week on average.

INTAKE PROCEDURE: Walk in and fill out an application to sign up as a client. Participants must provide bags (an insulated cold bag or cooler for frozen meat products is suggested, when meat is available).
FEES: $20 per month donation is suggested but not mandatory. Minimum of 3 hours of volunteering/participating each month doing gleaner-related jobs. If disabled and unable to participate in volunteering activities, the requirement can be waived on a case-by-case basis.

TRAVEL/LOCATION INFORMATION: Located at the Korean Mission Church of Oregon. Closest bus stop is Sunset Transit stations, and then you have to walk about a 1/2 mile to distribution site.
