Provides relocation assistance for mobile home owners who maintain ownership of their home, but must relocate due to park closure or park conversion to another use.

Eligibility: Low-income households who own their manufactured home and who live in a mobile home park prior to notice of closure or conversion to another use, and who maintain ownership of that home.

Relocation funds that are reimbursable include those directly related to relocation of the home such as:
-removal of attached awnings, decks, and stairs
-moving the home
-permits required for moving, installation, or re-installation of home in new location
-hook-ups to utilities
-rental equipment for moving and/or repair of moving-related damages
-purchase of a HUD manufactured home

Non-reimbursable are costs related to moving separate building, landscaping, property taxes, and renovations or repairs not required for relocation.

FEES: None. Maximum relocation reimbursement for a single-wide home in $7,500, and maximum relocation reimbursement for a double-wide home is $12,000.

-Proof of park residency (rental agreement, rent receipt, stamped mail received at address)
-Proof of ownership
-Income verification
-Copies of receipts or invoices of actual relocation expenses
