CHILD WELFARE SERVICES
Provides protective services assessment for child victims of abuse and neglect, investigation of suspected medical neglect, family restorative services, substitute care (foster care), permanent foster care, adoption resources for both adoptive parents and children who are adopted, and an independent living program for current and former foster youth (under age 24). This office recruits and trains qualified individuals and families to provide permanent and temporary substitute care for children in state custody (resource parents/families).
