Provides pet adoptions (all of which have been spayed and neutered), shelter, lost and found reporting program, HOPE Pet Food Bank, community cat program, and cremation services. Also offers Deschutes County dog licensing and renewal. Spay Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) vouchers available that can be used at several different veterinary offices.

INTAKE PROCEDURE: Adoption: Visit shelter or website to see pets and download an Adoption Questionnaire located under the tab Adopt
Pet surrender: Visit website to submit intake request located under the tab Rehoming
Lost pets: Visit website for resources and photos of found animals located under the tab Lost Pets or call shelter for more information
Found pets: Call shelter to file a report or to notify staff you will be arriving with a found animal (during business hours). After hours call Animal Control. Check website if outside Deschutes County for a list of the closest shelter (located under the tab Lost Pets)
