Helps provide affordable loans to eligible homeowners for home repairs and improvements. Grant funds are available periodically to homeowners with urgent-need repairs who are suffering from a financial hardship.

Eligibility: -Home must be located in Polk County and must be in need of repair
-Applicant must own property and must be in title
-Owner must reside in dwelling being repaired
-Property taxes must be current and homeowners insurance must be in place
-Applicant must have sufficient equity and repayment ability
