Provides a temporary, transitional shelter in one of 60 tiny home pods with access to case management for housing support, obtaining identification, employment, and benefit assistance. Additional health focused services including connecting guests with Oregon Health Plan, alcohol and drug treatment, mental health treatment, and primary care. Village shared amenities include showers, restrooms, laundry, kitchenette, and a community space. At least one meal a day will be provided. Guests may bring personal belongings.

Provides an opportunity to adopt animals, all of which have been spayed and neutered. This is a no-kill shelter. The society also has a food bank that provides pet food for low-income pet owners. Also provides a spay/neuter program for pets of low-income households. The program provides discounts for spaying and neutering pets for people who otherwise could not afford the full cost of the services. Can provide assistance with veterinary care expenses.

Sells gently used items, including clothing, home goods, décor, electronics, books, kitchen items, dinnerware, and other items at low cost to the community. Proceeds benefit the Humane Society for Southwest Washington.

Provides emergency food through a shopping-style pantry which includes pet food. Clients may come once per week. We are a USDA site. We provide nutrition education, cooking and gardening classes. Accepts donations of pet food.

Provides veterinary health care clinics and access to a pet supply bank. Households can access the pet supply bank monthly. Maximum of two pets per household will be seen. Services include:

Accepts donations of new and gently used pet supplies such as toys, cat litter, pet medication (see website for a list of accepted medication), flea prevention, vaccines (unexpired), clinic supplies, dewormer, prescription, and regular cat and dog food within one year of expiration. Food may be opened but must be in its original container.


Cannot accept: Any food past one year of expiration, CBD treats or supplements, retractable leashes, shock collars, electric collars, or prong collars.

Provides a temporary outdoor shelter for individuals living in Recreational Vehicles (RVs). Access to case management services, showers, toilets, and substance use and mental health supports will be available to clients.

Provides an animal shelter that cares for homeless, abandoned, or neglected animals. Pets that need to be surrendered are accepted as shelter capacity allows on an emergency basis. Adoptable cats and dogs are spayed or neutered and microchipped before being adopted. Low-cost spay/neuter surgeries are available on a limited basis. Offers pet food for those in need, as available. Accepts pet food donations. Also maintains reports for lost and found pets in Douglas County.
