RELIEF NURSERY
Serves families with young children who are most at risk of abuse and neglect by providing intensive support through individualized case management. Relief nurseries provide parenting education, home visits, developmental assessments, group activities, and referrals to other community resources. Many provide mental health care, counseling for domestic violence, and support for adults recovering from addiction. Parents/children must be enrolled to receive most services.

Also provides therapeutic early childhood classrooms with low adult-child ratios to promote healthy development. Classes are provided twice per week in 3-hour sessions. Monthly home visits available for families who live too far from the facility for their children to attend classroom sessions. Home visits are focused on an individual child's age and stage of development and also provide an opportunity for staff to help parents access basic resources.
