Provides various recreation opportunities, such as sports, fitness, crafts, music, and community-based recreation in community centers, senior centers, and swimming pools. Youth enrichment programs include topics such as art, science, technology, and nature. Parent-child activity activities are available. Provides preschool, after-school care, no-school-day child care, and Kids’ Corner (childcare for parents participating in fitness).

Operates and maintains developed and undeveloped parkland, including natural areas, hiking trails, and the following facilities: Bend Senior Center, Juniper Swim and Fitness Center, Larkspur Community Center, The Pavilion, and The Art Station. Also operates a variety of sports complexes, including a skate park, ice skating and roller ring, and dog off-leash areas.

Offers access to recreational services through scheduled activities and inclusion that are designed to assist people in enhancing the quality of life and promote greater functional independence for people with disabilities.
