CLACKAMAS COUNTY COORDINATED HOUSING ACCESS (CHA)
A collaboration of multiple agencies that provide a centralized coordinated access point for households experiencing homelessness or a housing crisis to seek assistance. Eligible households will be assessed for services and added to a central Housing Referral List for all programs they qualify for. This is not a crisis line, and there may be a wait for both shelter and housing.

HOUSING SOLUTIONS CENTER
Provides telephone and/or in-person screening and assessment for households who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Telephone screenings are provided for emergency shelter (men's, women's, couples, and families) and winter shelter, including severe weather sites and homeless safe parking programs. Households are assessed for eligibility for housing/rent assistance programs (prevention, rapid re-housing, transitional, and permanent supportive), as well as diversion programs. Funding is limited and assistance is not guaranteed.

WINTER AND SEVERE WEATHER INFORMATION SERVICES - MULTNOMAH COUNTY
Seasonal Winter Shelters may be open in addition to Severe Cold Weather Shelters that may be activated when a Severe Weather Notice is issued by the Multnomah County Joint Office of Homeless Services (JOHS).

The criteria used to determine a Severe Weather Notice in Multnomah County and the corresponding opening of emergency warming centers are:
-Temperatures forecast at 25°F or below OR
-Forecasts predict at least an inch of snow in most areas OR
-Overnight temperatures forecast at 32°F or below, with at least an inch of driving rain OR
-Other conditions, including severe wind chills or extreme temperature fluctuations

Eligibility: Individuals, youth 18-24, and families experiencing homelessness will receive a Coordinated Entry System Housing Needs Assessment if they are:
-Living and sleeping outside, in a car, or in places not meant for human habitation
-Staying in a shelter or transitional housing
-Fleeing/attempting to flee domestic violence
-Exiting an institution (jail, prison, a psychiatric hospital, medical hospital, or a drug/alcohol treatment program) where they resided for up to 90 days and were homeless before entering that institution

GRESHAM WOMEN'S SHELTER
The Gresham Women's Shelter is a low-barrier, reservation-based shelter for 90 women, with bunk beds. If unable to access a top bunk, reasonable accommodations may be made if available.

Guests will be able to store a small amount of belongings in a secure 3ft locker and use the kitchen, on-site laundry, and showers. Community food storage limited to one cloth grocery bag for cupboard and one gallon size zip bag for fridge per person. Non-perishable food items allowed in personal locker.

During the day, guests can use the computer center and access services through referrals with Human Solutions and community partners. Services include assistance finding housing, employment, veterans' services, and mental health and addictions services.

There is no time limit on stay at the shelter; guests can stay as long as needed.
Eligibility: Female-identified adults age 18 and older. Pregnant women in any trimester of pregnancy. No minors under 18 years old.

Top Bunk: Must be able to access a top bunk

Bottom Bunk: Bottom bunks are reserved for individuals who are physically unable to access a top bunk. Shelter MAY require documentation from a medical professional stating that a medical restriction prevents access to a top bunk within one week of accessing shelter.

One cat or dog is allowed. No other or additional pets are accepted. Pets must have a kennel. Pet can be outside of their kennels while inside the building, as long the owner has control of the animal and it is on a leash. Guests have up to 72 hours to get their own kennel.

EMERGENCY SHELTER
Provides emergency shelter to homeless men, including food, emergency clothing, laundry, mail services, case management, and faith-based addiction and mental health counseling. Health clinic onsite for primary care (provided by JD Health & Wellness). The New Life Fellowship is a 12-month faith-based recovery program available to men staying at the shelter. Graduates of the program may be referred to a longer-term housing program designed to allow them time to complete their education, gain employment longevity and stability, and accrue a positive rental history. Services include job readiness and job search assistance, life skills classes, relapse prevention, informal counseling, and emotional and mental health support. Education classes and GED testing center onsite.
