HEAD START
Tribal Head Start offers all-day and year-round preschool, providing a multicultural classroom experience.

Head Start services promote school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children in a classroom setting and by providing educational, health, nutritional, social, and other services to children and families. Parental engagement is emphasized. Services for parents include goal setting and support, parenting classes and opportunities for parents to network.

Eligibility: Families with children ages 3-5. Families with incomes at or below 100% FPL are eligible. Children in foster care, homeless children, and children from families receiving public assistance (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families or Supplemental Security Income) are eligible regardless of income. Families with higher incomes and specific needs may also be eligible, but families with higher needs are prioritized.

TRAVEL/LOCATION INFORMATION: Turn right onto Grand Ronde Road from Highway 18. Drive one mile, then turn left onto the Tribal Campus.
-The Social Services department is located in Building B, the Community Center.
-The Education Division is in Building K.
