COOLING PORTLAND: PCEF-FUNDED CLIMATE RESILIENCE PROGRAM
Provides portable heat pumps/cooling units to community members vulnerable to extreme heat. Most participating agencies include delivery and installation of units, including support for maintaining product life, efficiency, and usability. There may be a waitlist to receive a unit.

Community distribution partners are responsible for identifying and selecting recipients in the program. The City of Portland does not select recipients.

Eligibility: Household must make 60% or less of Area Median Income (AMI), adjusted for household size.

Priority for people who meet two of the following factors:
-Over 60 years of age
-Have medical conditions that increase risk of heat-related illness
-Live alone
