MULTNOMAH COUNTY CRISIS LINE
Provides support for people experiencing mental health issues, thoughts of suicide, or other crises. Offers crisis counseling by phone and helps callers decide where to go for immediate assistance. A mobile outreach team can be deployed or transportation can be arranged to an emergency room, urgent walk-in clinic, or other facility. In addition, the call center provides information and referral services for mental health and addiction treatment services.

Also serves as the front door to Multnomah Behavioral Health Services (mental health and substance use disorder), the behavioral health benefit for Oregon Health Plan members in Multnomah County assigned to Health Share of Oregon CCO.

INTAKE PROCEDURE: Call for crisis counseling, and/or information and referral regarding behavioral health services

OHP members whose mental health insurance provider is Multnomah Behavioral Health, may go to any of the provider agencies listed on the county website and in the member handbook. Those in need help choosing a provider agency, or who did not receive a member handbook, may call Multnomah Behavioral Health Member Services for a referral.
