TRANSITIONAL HOUSING SHELTERS
Operates three transitional housing shelters for families and single women, as space permits. The length of stay averages 3-6 months. One is in Newberg and two are in McMinnville. Clients must be willing to participate in case management activities.

Eligibility: Families (including men) with children under age 18; single women accepted as space permits.
Shelter clients must agree to remain clean and sober during their shelter residence and must abide by the published shelter rules, including drug testing.

INTAKE PROCEDURE: Call the front desk to access the Case Manager of the Day. Upon completion of an intake interview and signed releases, a criminal background check will be completed. If cleared, applicants are called back for an orientation and drug test. If there is no vacancy in any of the agency shelters, applicants will be placed on a waitlist and/or referred to other shelters. Admission procedures may vary due to special emergency needs.

TRAVEL/LOCATION INFORMATION: Dustin Court is a cul-de-sac that was created for the YCAP building, so many GPS systems do not show this road. Enter "2170 NE Riverside Drive, McMinnville, OR" into a GPS system to get close to the building and from there, it is obvious where the YCAP building is.

Without a GPS system: Turn onto SE Riverside Drive from SE Lafayette Road. Once on Riverside Drive, the building is about 200 yards down on the left.
