PUBLIC GUARDIAN AND CONSERVATOR PROGRAM
Provides services to older adults and people with disabilities who are no longer able to manage personal, health care, and financial matters due to incapacity or incompetence. Through this program, the court may appoint a guardian for health care matters and a conservator for financial matters, if no one has the legal authority prior to the incapacity. Family members and other interested parties may petition the court to become either a guardian or conservator.
