Families First provides two Active Parenting series each year and multiple parent-child playgroup/workshop opportunities, including divorce education and prenatal classes.

The agencies it houses include the Gladstone Health & Wellness Center, pediatric health, emotional and dental services. Family Stepping Stones, Relief Nursery, Head Start and Early Head Start, Northwest Family services navigators, Clackamas Education Service District EI/ECSE program, LifeWorks Northwest family counseling, WIC, SMART, Clackamas Community College GED program, and the Gladstone School District kindergarten program.

Provides early childhood education to parents, using the Nurturing Parenting™ curriculum, offering Spanish-English educational materials and activities that promote physical, cognitive, and emotional development. Parents participate in weekly parenting support groups, educational workshops, and twice-monthly home visits from Hacienda's Parent Educators, monitoring their child's health and development. Children and infants engage in age-appropriate activities geared toward cognitive health and kindergarten preparation. Children receive preventative health and developmental screenings and referral resources.

This program provides parenting trainings, educational home visits, groups on general parenting issues, parenting materials to help children prepare for school, referrals, case management, and developmental screening. It also provides parents with guidance on how to deal with a child's tantrums, questions about a child's developmental stages, and alternative types of discipline.

Pregnancy supplies include pre-natal vitamins, morning sickness kits, pregnancy pillows, maternity clothing, and pregnancy and parenting books. Staff are available to meet with clients to answer pregnancy and parenting questions or provide referrals to other programs.

Aims to help children and families learn skills for healthy living and relationships. Services include mental health assessment and evaluation, counseling (individual, couples, family, and group), case management, cultural groups and activities, Native parenting classes, foster parent groups, access to physical health services, Healthy Native Kids (OHP/CHIPRA) insurance assistance, and wraparound care for Native youth with multiple needs. Referrals to other resources provided.

Staff receive training on cultural competence to provide cultural programming for clients. Staff includes Master's-level counselors and social workers, certified alcohol and drug counselors (CADC), psychologists and child psychiatrists, and nurse practitioners. Student interns studying to become CADCs or counselors may also work under supervision of licensed staff. The program is certified by the State of Oregon to provide mental health and addiction treatment services for all ages.
