PUENTES
Puentes provides bilingual/bicultural alcohol and drug treatment and mental health services to Hispanic individuals and families. Provides case management, mentoring, access and referral to housing resources, and continuing care when treatment is finished. Puentes encompasses several programs:
-Esperanza Juvenil, providing alcohol and drug treatment to Hispanic youth ages 12-21
-MIOS, serving uninsured Hispanic individuals and families with significant mental health concerns
-ORLC (Over Representation of Latinos in the Criminal Justice System), providing mental health treatment to Hispanic adults who are also represented in the criminal justice system
Also offers court-mandated DUII treatment in Spanish.
Eligibility: Individuals who are:
Latinx (monolingual/bilingual)

Adults (over 18 years of age) in need of mental health counseling, substance abuse and/or DUII treatment

At-risk youth, ages 14-21 (Esperanza Juvenil program)
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, some evening hours

SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER SERVICES
Provides confidential alcohol and drug assessments, intensive outpatient treatment, relapse prevention, deferred prosecution, gender specific groups, coaching, and an Alcohol/Drug Information School education class. Also provides urinalysis tests for businesses and individuals.

Provides an alcohol and drug program for Spanish-speaking people. Offers individual outpatient, family sessions, and group services. Addresses issues specific to Latinos (biculturalism, machismo, gender roles, self-identification in dominant culture, racism, US laws, orientation to dominant culture) related to substance abuse and recovery from substance use disorders.
Eligibility: Individuals with problems related to use of alcohol and other drugs and associated mental health conditions including gambling. Primarily Spanish-speaking adults with substance abuse concerns.
Hours: Office hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.
Springfield group hours: Monday-Tuesday 6pm-8pm.

Provides culturally specific treatment by phone or telehealth for alcohol and substance abuse and early intervention classes for youth who have received minor-in-possession.
