The program can be tailored to agency or group needs. Classes combine the real life expertise of families with accurate information on disability. The length of training can vary based on need. Full day trainings are also available. Topics that have been covered include, Creating a Welcoming Environment, Individual Education Plans (IEP), Fine Motor, Speech and Language, Financial Planning for People with Disabilities, Person Centered Planning, and Healthy Eating Habits and Special Diets. All classes provide families with free on-site child care.

OREGON FAMILY TO FAMILY HEALTH INFORMATION CENTER
Oregon Family to Family Health Information Center (OR F2F HIC) operates a call-in center for family members of children and youth with special needs and chronic health conditions (developmental and emotional disabilities, behavioral problems, and chronic physical illnesses) and professionals who serve them. The center specializes in providing information and resources related to health information, health care access, and special needs systems and supports. All calls are confidential.

Families may also request to be placed on an email list to receive monthly correspondence about issues of importance to children and youth with special needs in Oregon.
