Provides various recreation opportunities, such as sports, fitness, crafts, music, and community-based recreation in community centers, senior centers, and swimming pools. Youth enrichment programs include topics such as art, science, technology, and nature. Parent-child activity activities are available. Provides preschool, after-school care, no-school-day child care, and Kids’ Corner (childcare for parents participating in fitness).

Operates and maintains developed and undeveloped parkland, including natural areas, hiking trails, and the following facilities: Bend Senior Center, Juniper Swim and Fitness Center, Larkspur Community Center, The Pavilion, and The Art Station. Also operates a variety of sports complexes, including a skate park, ice skating and roller ring, and dog off-leash areas.

Offers community-based recreation activities and leisure services specially designed for children, teens, and adults with disabilities and/or special needs.

Provides guidance and access with people living with disabilities can access Portland Parks and Recreation classes and activities.
