ADVOCACY AND DAY SUPPORTS ACTIVITIES
Provides advocacy and programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families who are seeking to exert their full civil rights in the community. Provides supported recreational opportunities, including art instruction, poetry classes, Lego Team, bowling, game night, dinner and a movie, etc. Monthly Activities Calendar posted on website. Helps individuals practice social skills in a small mixed group. The Employment Training Program hires people with developmental disabilities to work for 90 days in the toy department of our thrift store, learning transferable skills with a job coach.

EMPLOYMENT SERVICES
Specializes in providing unique employment opportunities for adults with disabilities in community settings. Services include job placement in community jobs, job training and employment support services to adults with disabilities and employment barriers. A personalized employment plan is developed, identifying attributes, skills, abilities, and employment preferences. Plan development may include job assessments and job tours to assist an individual in determining their employment goal. For community businesses, services are tailored to address the employment needs of each business, matching employers' needs with job seekers' skills.

Provides employment opportunities and training to individuals with disabilities or who experience other barriers to employment like language ability, legal background, and homelessness. Disabilities include physical limitations, mental health conditions, learning disabilities, intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

Training programs are offered for Janitorial department. Once accepted into training and upon successful completion, trainees are eligible for permanent employment with the company.
