REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT
Provides comprehensive resettlement services for newly arriving refugees, asylees, Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) holders, foreign born victims of trafficking, or Cuban/Haitian entrants. Program staff and community volunteers work to meet refugees' basic needs, including shelter, furnishings, food, and clothing. Case Managers facilitate referrals to other service providers and encourage refugee newcomers towards self-sufficiency through obtaining safe and secure housing, cultural orientation classes, applying for health insurance, employment services, English language classes, public assistance, and school enrollment.

Eligibility: Must have documentation present confirming their status (Refugee, Asylee, SIV, foreign born victims of trafficking, or Cuban or Haitian entrant) and must have been in the US for less than 60 months from date of status granted.
Most services can be rendered up to 24 months (2 years) in total.

Volunteers needed for English language tutoring, transportation, and office assistance.
