Provides volunteers to assist older adults and adults with disabilities. Can help with shopping, providing rides, and companionship. The program supports independence through shared activities, transportation, and companionship. Senior Companions also provide short periods of relief to primary caregivers.

Volunteer opportunities available. If income-eligible, Senior Companion volunteers may receive a small stipend plus mileage reimbursement.

Foster Grandparents and Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) offer opportunities to earn supplemental income (non-taxable stipend) and to help the community providing supports to older adults and children.

Provides services to adults needing simple companionship or special assistance (including transportation, visitation, client advocacy, and light housekeeping). Volunteers receive a stipend of $4.00 per hour for each hour of service, mileage reimbursement for program-related activities, and training, orientation, and recognition. Foster Grandparent Volunteers assist designated school children with reading and math skills. Also, assist pre-school age youth with pre-reading skill development and socialization.

Helps older adults find volunteer opportunities in public schools and youth-focused nonprofits to assist children at risk of school failure. Benefits include an hourly stipend, mileage reimbursement, and training.

Provides a variety of opportunities for retired persons to participate in their communities through volunteer service for public or private nonprofit agencies and health care facilities.
