The 211info SNAP and Food Access program provides specialized information, referral, advocacy, follow-up services, and extra guidance to individuals and family members who would like to access the SNAP program, have a question or issue with their current SNAP case, and/or need extra guidance accessing food resources.

Value-Added Benefits (VAB) offer additional supports not covered by Apple Health (Medicaid) and are provided to clients by their managed care plan. Can also be used for utility payments such as electricity, gas, water, and internet.

Shoppers who use their EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) card and Safeway Club Card and purchase $10 of qualifying fruits and vegetables will receive a $5 coupon toward their next purchase. Food can be fresh, canned, or frozen, so long as the products have no added fats, sugar, or salt. Shoppers will receive one coupon per transaction. Coupons can be earned at any Safeway store in the state of Washington.
