INDEPENDENT LIVING PROGRAM
The Independent Living Program (ILP) helps youth who are, or were, in foster care to become self-sufficient adults. It gives an opportunity to learn valuable skills necessary to make a successful transition from state and Tribal custody to living on their own in the community. Services include access to case management and funds for continuing education and assistance with housing.

Pairs mentors with young people. Mentors offer guidance, encouragement, and a supportive network. The program emphasizes encouragement and empowers youth. Mentors address both practical and emotional needs, helping mentees reach tailored goals. The program is a one-year commitment, with meetings every other week, but ideally fosters lifelong relationships.
