Volunteers provide information to current Medicare recipients, as well as those new to Medicare, regarding their prescription insurance options. During fall open enrollment, provides informational clinics and individual counseling sessions. Provides advocacy in navigating the Medicare billing and appeals process. Through the Senior Medicare Patrol program, addresses Medicare fraud prevention.

Provides information on free or low-cost prescription resources for those with no insurance coverage. Staff screen for eligibility and assist in enrollment for the Medicare Extra Help Prescription Program and the Oregon Prescription Drug Program.
