HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Provides housing assistance. Assistance is based on funding availability and capacity and is subject to certain eligibility requirements. Assistance may involve helping survivors to:
-Leave a dangerous place
-Secure emergency safe nights and shelter access
-Retain safe housing with eviction prevention
-Transition to long-term or permanent housing
-Emotional support, safety planning, and systems navigation support
-Help with 14-day lease break letters
-Address Confidentiality Program applications
-Discussing housing options
Eligibility: Survivors of domestic violence within the last 180 calendar days; may offer additional services for Black, African-American, and LGBTQ2+ survivors of domestic violence when available
Hours: Monday-Friday 10am-4pm
COMMUNITY OUTREACH INC
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SERVICES
Provides services counseling referrals for adults and children; classes on interpersonal communication, the dynamics and effects of domestic violence, and parenting skills; housing search assistance; and supportive services, such as monthly access to a food pantry, household items, and personal hygiene supplies.
