This is an access point for being placed on Jackson County's Centralized Interest List for housing.

Provides housing and support services including housing linked to employment, fair market, low-income housing, and Section 8 housing. Also provides Grant and Per Diem veteran transitional housing.

Walk-in center for anyone experiencing homelessness or extremely low-income for referrals, food, clothing, DME, camping basic needs, and water. Conducts outreach to veterans and non-veterans living in homeless camps by providing potable water, food, clothing, phone/fax services, bus passes, and Veterans Affairs claims assistance.

A collaboration of multiple agencies that provide a centralized coordinated access point for households experiencing homelessness or a housing crisis to seek assistance (CHA). Eligible households will be assessed for services and added to a Housing By Name List for all programs they qualify for. This is not a crisis line, and there may be a wait for both shelter and housing.

Administers the VA Grant and Per Diem (GPD) transitional housing program, which promotes the development and provision of supportive housing and/or supportive services. The goal of the program is to help homeless veterans achieve residential stability, increase their skill levels and/or income, and gain greater self-determination.

Serves veterans and their families by offering transitional housing with case management, peer support, community services, transitional classes geared towards veterans, an advisory group, and collaboration with other VA providers. Average length of stay in shelter is 4-6 months. Also provides homeless prevention case management services for veterans in the community.

Transitional housing center that provides a supportive environment for 60 veterans and their families for up to 9 months. Provides intensive case management, skill building, job training assistance, sober living quarters, mentoring, food/meals, and benefits assistance.

Provides transitional housing for homeless veterans. Participants work towards goals, such as obtaining stable housing, increasing income/job skills, and achieving greater levels of self-determination. Services for participants include:
-Immediate medical referral
-Admission into treatment
-Financial literacy
-Initiation of mental health services
-Individual and group counseling
-Vocational assessment

Doreen's Place is a 90-bed, short-term, housing-focused residential program for men, providing case management, life and job skills training, and support services. Stays are generally 4-6 months long. Program participants are expected to abstain from drugs and alcohol while in this program.

Jean's Place is a 60-bed short-term, housing-focused residential program for women. The program provides case management, life and job skills training, and support services. Stays are generally 4-6 months long.

Community Reintegration Services (CRS) assist veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in developing and maintaining the skills necessary to succeed in community living. Services include:
-Vocational Services where veterans can access job search assistance, job coaching, educational guidance, and vocational skill-building resources
-Community Shelter and Housing works with community providers to help homeless veterans find local shelters
-Outreach to homeless veterans
-Case Managed Housing maintains 160+ veterans in case-managed housing

Provides help to veterans in accessing VA and community services. Services may include short-term case management, onsite primary care, access to medical, mental health, and substance abuse treatment, and access to VA housing programs, including Grant and Per Diem program, HUD/VASH, Veterans Recovery House and Supportive Service for Veteran Families (SSVF) if found eligible. These grants do not provide immediate assistance, are sometimes one-time, and may include case management. Help with finding market rate or subsidized housing or linkage to community housing programs. Assistance with expediting VA Benefit claims and access to employment programs such as Supported Employment, Veterans Reintegration program, and State employment. Access to computers, clothing, and hygiene items is available onsite.
