Advice clinics offer one-on-one appointments with a volunteer attorney for civil law matters only. Topics include family law (custody, visitation, divorce, guardianship, etc.), elder law, general law, debt/bankruptcy (Chapter 7 only), and wills/estates. Clinics are held weekly and monthly. Self-help materials and forms available as well.

Provides advocacy and limited legal services to people with disabilities. DRO's individual advocacy focuses on providing callers with information and materials about their rights to help them advocate for themselves. Occasionally, Disability Rights Oregon will engage in litigation to protect the rights of Oregonians under applicable federal and state laws.

DRO DOES NOT provide the following services:
-Representation in criminal or family law matters
-Help finding employment, housing, or financial assistance
-Case management
-Assistance for short term disability issues
-Transportation to doctor's office
-Applying for or appealing denial of Social Security disability benefits
-Estates and trusts
-Becoming the guardian of a person with a disability
-Out-of-state issues
-Workers' compensation
-Medical malpractice or personal injury
-Consumer or bankruptcy issues
-Anything that is not the wish of the person with the disability

Offers free, affirming, supportive legal services. Legal services include free direct representation, consultations, and legal clinics for issues related to criminal law and more.

Resource Center for people transitioning from incarceration back to the community, who are currently on probation/parole supervision, or otherwise impacted by the criminal justice system. Weekly legal clinic where volunteers offer consultation on civil legal matters. Weekly assistance in applying for health insurance through Cover Oregon. They also provide classes and workshops for ex-offenders on topics such as parenting, personal finance, tenant readiness, and motivation. Provide consultation, information and referral specifically for persons and family members impacted by incarceration or involvement in the criminal justice system. A computer lab is available for computer tutoring, GED preparation, job search and other purposes.

Provides emergency food and clothing, preventive medical care, limited non-emergency dental, legal advice, job referrals, advocacy, and information and referral. Services are prioritized for members. Volunteers are provided with organizational skills and advocacy methods.

The Family Defense Project (FDP) works with parents whose children are at risk of entering the foster care system. Addresses legal and resource needs such as child custody, legal counseling, and restraining orders. Focus is to empower families, protect children, and prevent foster care placement.

Provides BIPOC parents and guardians with legal representation in school settings to ensure their children receive the school services and support. Also, provides community-based educational rights training (topics include but are not limited to student/ parent rights, discrimination, search and seizure in schools, and an overview of educational law) to parents and community partners to advocate for the students in their lives.
