All types of severe emotional and serious behaviors are addressed. However, the program is not designed for children with chronic psychosis or significant developmental disabilities. Proven interventions used are effective with problems such as violent behaviors, 

sexual acting-out, emotional issues stemming from the effects of childhood trauma, fire-setting, serious difficulties attaching and bonding to others, and delayed social development.

OREGON FAMILY TO FAMILY HEALTH INFORMATION CENTER
Oregon Family to Family Health Information Center (OR F2F HIC) operates a call-in center for family members of children and youth with special needs and chronic health conditions (developmental and emotional disabilities, behavioral problems, and chronic physical illnesses) and professionals who serve them. The center specializes in providing information and resources related to health information, health care access, and special needs systems and supports. All calls are confidential.

Families may also request to be placed on an email list to receive monthly correspondence about issues of importance to children and youth with special needs in Oregon.

RIMROCK TRAILS TREATMENT SERVICES - ADOLESCENT RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT PROGRAM
Provides residential co-occurring (substance use and mental health) treatment services. Youth reside in a coeducational facility for 50 days or more. Length of treatment varies according to the needs and rate of progress of each individual. Focus on skill building, relapse prevention, accountability, relationships, and regulating emotions and distress. Youth receive individual and daily group therapy. On-site continuing education provided through the Crook County School District. Youth participate in daily chores to learn functional life skills and basic self care. Youth participate in daily sports and recreation. A gym, weight room, rock climbing wall, equine therapy program, and art therapy are also available.
