OREGON JUDICIAL BRANCH
CRIMINAL RECORD EXPUNGEMENT
Provides information on how to file a petition to set aside or seal a conviction, an arrest, citation, charge, or a finding of Guilty Except Insane (GEI).
Charges that may be set aside include most violations, misdemeanors, Class C felonies, and those felonies that may be treated as misdemeanors. Most Class A and Class B felony convictions may not be set aside. No type of traffic violation (such as speeding) or traffic crime (such as DUII) can be set aside. Violent felonies, most sex offenses and offenses involving child abuse may not be set aside. Allows some very old but serious drug convictions to be set aside.
