Provides support and services to help people who experience intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

Provides information/referral assistance for adults and families with intellectual & developmental disabilities, weekly social activities, and educational programming for quality of life.

Provides connections to resources such as case management services, assistance with advocacy, disability awareness training, education, recreational programs, and vocational training.

Offers support, education, advocacy, activities, and a camp for families whose children have or have had cancer. Works through all the stages: discovery, diagnosis, treatment, and remission, and can also help with other issues, such as those that arise when a child dies. Will immediately connect new members with another family that has been through a similar experience.

Provides advocacy and limited legal services to people with disabilities. DRO's individual advocacy focuses on providing callers with information and materials about their rights to help them advocate for themselves. Occasionally, Disability Rights Oregon will engage in litigation to protect the rights of Oregonians under applicable federal and state laws.

DRO DOES NOT provide the following services:
-Representation in criminal or family law matters
-Help finding employment, housing, or financial assistance
-Case management
-Assistance for short term disability issues
-Transportation to doctor's office
-Applying for or appealing denial of Social Security disability benefits
-Estates and trusts
-Becoming the guardian of a person with a disability
-Out-of-state issues
-Workers' compensation
-Medical malpractice or personal injury
-Consumer or bankruptcy issues
-Anything that is not the wish of the person with the disability

Provides independent living services to individuals, family members, and care providers. The four core services include advocacy, information and referral, peer counseling, and skills training. Also offers support groups and recreation activities.

Programs and services include: Information and Referral, Peer Mentoring, Mental Health Support Groups, Peer Counseling, Mental Health Peer Support Club, Disability Navigators (employment), The WIN Program (Benefit Coordination), Social Security benefits application assistance, and advocacy.

Provides guardianship, advocacy, and health care advocacy services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through a testamentary nomination in their will, families can plan for services upon their passing. GAPS also accepts referrals for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that have no one else in their lives and need protection from abusive or neglectful situations.

Provides specialized information and referral, peer mentoring supports, independent living skills training, individual and systems advocacy, and life transition services.
