The Family Resource Coordinator (FRC) provides information and referrals to families about early learning, parenting support, basic needs, and health. Also coordinates play groups, parenting classes, and early learning workshops. The FRC is community-based and does not have an office, but rotates between elementary school locations.

In classes, parents have the opportunity to interact with each other and boost their parenting skills while learning nurturing strategies to support their children at home and in school. Topics covered may include social and language skills, independence and problem-solving skills, self-care, resourcefulness, positive discipline, wellbeing, and financial literacy. Child care and snacks/meal provided.

Provides weekly outings with parents and children, including trail hikes, park and play, kid-led walks, urban strolls, and nature scavenger hunts. The Mini Mountaineers program connects families with nature and each other.

Locator tool with list of Family Resource Centers by school district. Provides a range of services and support to families with children, including child literacy groups and story times, playgroups, assistance with accessing school personnel, parent education, parent literacy and computer support, and other drop-in services for families and children. Some locations may offer children's clothing and other supplies.

Provides developmental screening, referrals to educational and community resources, learning opportunities, connects children with other Black children, and supports parents as they help children learn and grow.

A network of providers who work to enhance the ability of parents and caregivers to stimulate, protect, and nurture children. In order to lower the incidences of child abuse and neglect, increase effective parenting, and improve family health and well-being via parent education trainings, strengthening linkages among providers, and improving access to support for all families. Coordinated enrollment into subsidized preschool, including Head Start and Preschool Promise. Serves as the Coordinate Early Learning Hub for the county.

Assists families, child care providers, and community partners in providing quality early learning and school readiness programs, and professional development opportunities. Offers referrals to Early Head Start,ECEAP, child care, and parent-child groups.

Offers a variety of recreation opportunities, including an aquatic center, gym, group exercise classes, preschool, afterschool childcare, family fun events, and youth and adult sports. Also provides teen youth clubs and drop-in events.

The Virtual Y Hub provides on-demand videos for fitness, yoga, meditation, and more that people can watch at home.

The Parent Baby Group is a weekly playgroup for parents/caregivers to come together and learn learn about child development, how to build early attachments and how to work through parenting struggles.

Offers collaborative programs and systems for kindergarten readiness, as well as community events, children's playgroups, and classes for parents and guardians of young children.

Provides after-school enrichment program with activities such as art, science, homework help, sports, field trips, and playtime. Children have the opportunity to participate in weekly clubs like photography, theater, gardening, and art. Day camps are available during school breaks.

Provides parenting materials, family events, and a free lending library. It also hosts a variety of classes and groups offered by the agencies within the center. The agencies it houses include the Gladstone Health & Wellness Center, pediatric health, emotional and dental services. Family Stepping Stones, Relief Nursery, Head Start and Early Head Start, Northwest Family services navigators, Clackamas Education Service District EI/ECSE program, LifeWorks Northwest family counseling, WIC, SMART, Clackamas Community College GED program, and the Gladstone School District kindergarten program.

Provides childbirth education, newborn care classes, safe sleep workshop, breastfeeding workshop/support, and other classes which vary by season.

- Healthy Families: expectant families must enroll during pregnancy or before baby is 90 days old - Parenting classes, baby clothing donations and play groups are unrestricted
- Family Support and Connections: must be receiving TANF or SSI
- Expanded Home Visiting: parent must have one child under the age of 12 and a risk factor (high stress, anxiety or mood disorders, domestic violence, substance abuse, etc)
- Welcome Baby: all expectant parents

Provides a community events calendar, magazine and website which provide information about parent support groups, children's playgroups, family activities and enrichment, camps and listings of kid-friendly events in Portland, Oregon.

Provides a place for parents with young children to meet, socialize, and support each other. Children enjoy story and play time while the parents meet with each other and share child raising tips. Also provides information and referrals related to parents and children.

Peggy's Primary Connection offers comprehensive services aimed to help individuals and families access community and basic needs resources. Primary services during drop-in hours include referrals to community resources, parent/child activities, and access to a lending library.

The center also offers parent education, parent support groups, translation services and interpretation, ESL classes, and OHP application assistance at specific times. A Baby Connection (ABC) program offers infant play group, lactation support, free lunch, and a support group for prenatal/postnatal mothers.

Kaleidoscope Play and Learn groups offer drop-in parent/child early learning play groups. The program is sponsored by Southern Oregon Early Learning Services Hub and provided throughout the community at elementary schools and other community-based partner organizations.

Parent Educators use the Parents as Teachers (PAT) evidence-based home visiting curriculum to support developmentally appropriate activities and information about development, as well as answer parent questions or concerns.
