The Children's Resource Team focuses on mental health issues in children and involves the children's parents. Intensive family therapy services aimed to promote positive parenting practices teaching parents the skills necessary to manage their child’s challenging behavior often due to underlying mental health issues. Families meet with a clinician on a weekly basis for support, guidance and to learn new parenting skills. School support and case management are provided as needed. These services also provide weekly skills training or individual therapy services to help skills development in children in an individual manner and according to the mental health needs of each child. Treatment lasts approximately 6-9mos depending on the needs of the family and child.

Oregon Family to Family Health Information Center (OR F2F HIC) operates a call-in center for family members of children and youth with special needs and chronic health conditions (developmental and emotional disabilities, behavioral problems, and chronic physical illnesses) and professionals who serve them. The center specializes in providing information and resources related to health information, health care access, and special needs systems and supports. All calls are confidential.
